« Varnelis dans l’hexagone » est la première exposition consacrée en France à l’artiste lituanien, dont l’œuvre s’inscrit de façon singulière dans la mouvance internationale op. Les œuvres de Kazys Varnelis (1917-2010) sont présentées dans cette exposition à la Fondation Vasarely en dialogue avec les œuvres d’autres artistes de différentes générations.
"Varnelis dans l'hexagone" is the first exhibition in France devoted to the Lithuanian artist, whose work is a unique part of the international op art movement. Works by Kazys Varnelis (1917-2010) are presented in this exhibition at the Fondation Vasarely in dialogue with works by other artists of different generations.
